LASS-Expert

The therapeutic laser shower LASS-Expert is used for application on larger surfaces (e. g., in trauma, arthropathy, hypertonia of large muscles and dermatology). It works with 21 laser diodes (2.100 mW Power output max.) and offers continuous output, alpha, Nogier, Bahr, Reininger and multifrequency or freely selectable frequencies (software extension optionally available). The infrared diode laser with a wavelength of 808 nm provides the best values of penetration depth and biostimulation efficiency according to latest scientific conclusions.

Therapy Information

Laser therapy is used in various therapy fields. In contrast to hard lasers used in surgery (30 W and higher), laser therapists work with the athermal, therapeutic, low level laser (less than 700 mW). As for physical therapy, the infrared diode laser is now the common means of treatment. This laser excels over other types of lasers in penetration depth, bio-stimulative effect and ease of handling. The assignment of laser therapy to light therapy is based on its various complex photobiological effects. These effects can be summarised as follows: 

  • Enhanced cellular energy balance
  • Antiphlogistic effect
  • Anti-oedematous effect

  • Tissue-reparative effect
  • Analgesic effect

The LASS-Expert laser shower is used for applications on larger surfaces. For indications, such as trauma injuries, arthropathy, or dermatological indications, the laser shower can be moved easily over the treatment area thanks to its ergonomical design. Optionally, a tripod is provided, which ensures secure positioning for extended treatment periods. This means that the therapist has free hands, while the patient can benefit from a lengthier treatment with the laser shower. The optional interchangeable adapter allow for additional treatments. The comb insert is suitable for treating hair-covered body parts, in particular the scalp. An additional point adapter is available for the treatment of tender and trigger points, paraspinal points, etc.
